Teenagers are impacted by the drug market and parents are at a loss of what to do. Most teens will begin their drug use by indulging in smoking marijuana with their peers. This will escalate most of the time to hard core drugs such as cocaine and heroin. The process is going to be painful for everyone involved but it is better to confront the pain than to shove it away and deal with it later when it can be too later. A teenager that gets deeply involved in drugs usually have other internal issues going on that relate directly to the family situation at home. Teenagers are so vulnerable when it comes to drug abuse and addiction. They are the easiest target for drug dealers to prey on and it is important that parents know what their children are doing and where they are at all times.
